I was very busy. Today I visited the New York show picture " Jane Air "(right), which shocked me and I give it to you sincerely recommend.
On Monday I spoke co-host of the ceremony honoring the heroes of International Commission on Human gays and lesbians in New York. This organization - is amazing, it makes a lot of respect for human rights and equality of people of non-traditional orientation in countries such as Uganda, where these people are literally killing is just for their sexual orientation. It was truly wonderful to see how two young girls from Mongolia were honored for their perseverance in the struggle for equality and how their achievements have been officially recognized (and rather strange to hear that I have them sign on the frame of the " The L Word !").
Sometimes I think that the struggle for equality in the U.S. perceived as something abstract. We are fighting for legislation, a change in perception, for the right to protection. And somewhere men of untraditional sexual orientation of the fight for what they had not been killed. Such thoughts fill me with energy and open our eyes to the true purpose of our efforts.
Past weekend turned theater: stunning Geoffrey Rush in "Diary of a Madman" in BAM , "Three Sisters" on the classical stage, and my boss project " The Good Wife " Chris Horn in the premiere of " That Championship Season " on Broadway . That's actually me. Argue that wearing a gray and be greyness - just not the same. Last night I attended a presentation of his friend Stephen Hoggeta " Beautiful Burnout ". I appeal to you - necessarily should not miss this show! This magnificent a combination of boxing, dance, movement and text, and also - very much in the Scottish style. I first saw him in Edinburgh at the festival last year, but even more impression it made on me yesterday.
Next story about the Fund and a short video about what show I'm going to present in Boston on April 9.
